Christie Brinkley smoulders in bikini photoshoot with daughters

She’s no stranger to the camera and it appears Christie Brinkley is just as photogenic as ever, starring in a new photoshoot in nothing but her bikini for Sports Illustrated.

The 63-year-old model had two very special guests with her for the shoot: her daughters Sailor and Alexa.

The trio were all smiles as they posed together in the crystal-clear water at the beach in Turks and Caicos.

While it’s not unusual to see three gorgeous models gracing the cover of a magazine, it’s much less common to see a woman in her 60s doing the honours!

Christie told PEOPLE she was nervous at first about the idea of getting her kit off in front of the cameras in her 60s, but decided to send a message instead.

“In a country that’s very ageist, people love to put you in little boxes,” she told the magazine.

“Women feel very limited by their numbers. On a personal level, I thought, if I can pull this off, I think it will help redefine those numbers and remove some of the fear of ageing.”

The gorgeous photos are appearing in this month’s issue of Sports Illustrated and she told the magazine sharing the moment with her daughters made the whole experience extra special.

“This is a real full circle moment for me,” she said at the shoot. “I can get very emotional about this.

“How many years ago, I was that insecure girl hoping that I would be good enough for the magazine. So to see my daughters now having the same thoughts I had, and to be able to see them actually be there on the job, was definitely a big moment.”
