Check out Barbra Streisand’s beautiful retro birthday cake

Musical legend Barbra Streisand celebrated her 75th birthday at the weekend and she certainly did it in style with a host of celebrity friends and one seriously amazing cake.

After dancing the night away in Malibu, California with the likes of Cindy Crawford, John Mayer, David Foster and Pierce Brosnon, the singer took to social media to share a photo of her beautiful birthday cake.

Rather than going for something sleek and modern, Barbra chose a classic old-fashioned cake decorate with dozens of sugared rose in an array of colours.

A green ribbon, that appeared to be made from royal icing, was placed on the front of the cake, while dozens of little butterflies dotted the outside.

The cake brings back memories of those amazing creations that used to line the display shelves in bakeries.
