Eurovision is the competition that gave life to talented acts such as ABBA, and no doubt over the years you’ve watched it at least once.

Since Australia was added to the competition two years ago, we’ve done very well.

We’ve cheered on Guy Sebastian and Dami Im as they made their way to the grand final, and now Australia has made it to the grand final again!

Young singer Isaiah Firebrace, who won the X Factor last year, is through to the final singing his song Don’t Come Easy.

And while he made it through, it wasn’t without a hiccup.

If you missed the Eurovision semi-finals, you missed Isaiah stumble on a high-note.

There were fears it could have cost him a spot in the finals but luckily he’s won over plenty of fans both here and abroad.

He told NewsCorp that when he walked offstage it was ‘human’ to not be perfect.

“I am not this perfect singer who sings 100 per cent perfect and perfect this and perfect that,” he said.

“I got all the other notes right, I got the big note right. I can’t wait to smash it in the grand final.”

Watch his performance below and tell us what you think.

Are you a fan of Eurovision? Do you think Isaiah can win it?
