An ‘awkward’ exchange between US First Ladies

It hasn’t taken the internet very long to find something to grab hold of during President Trump inauguration and run with it. 

Before the official ceremony, outgoing President Obama and First Lady Michelle welcomed Mr Trump and his wife Melania to the White House for the official handover.  While Trump was going over the protocol with Trump, Melania handed Michelle a gift that has been labelled as an awkward exchange.

The box was a blue Tiffany box.  Tiffany is one of the marquee stores in Trump Tower in New York City.  It was a pleasant and gracious gift that the online community has chosen to make a moment.
