A little girl will brighten your day with her ‘sparkly’ idea

When Jordan Reeves was born 11 years ago, her mother knew something was wrong. As it turns out, Jordan was born without part of her left arm but as she told CNN her sadness didn’t last saying, “I mourned for the kid I thought I was getting, but I got a totally upgraded version”.

Jordan has also proven to be quite the inventor.  She has started her own blog and Facebook page called Born Just Right where she shares her inventions.  Using a 3D printer she has designed and created her own prosthetics including one that lets her do pull-ups, her “cyborg” arm, and her dream project.

The dream project was dubbed Project Unicorn because she wanted to make a prosthetic that shot glitter to help brighten anyone’s day.  After many prototypes, she finally got it to work and has shown it on The Rachel Ray Show in the US.

This invention is just the start of a career in making the lives of those with need for prosthetics better.  The one thing that this 11-year-old also believes that no one can argue with is that “You can never be sad with sparkles.”  Well said.

What do you think of this girls inventions?  They will certainly put a smile on your face.
