Jun 05, 2017

For the regular travellers among us, or those of us who like to make regular trips to the beach, there are things that are always at the back of our minds. Where are our valuables and are they at risk of being stolen?

More often than not, travellers tend to be pretty cautious when it comes to taking care of their valued possessions, but at times it can be difficult to stay alert, especially when crooks and thieves know what to look for and what to grab.

Thankfully, there are some simple tips and hints that can prevent people having their items stolen from them, and one way is to make sure you bring a nappy bag with you.

If you’re a bit of a travel photographer and love to bring your DSLR and macro lenses with you on holiday, then you might be tempted to place it in a big sturdy camera bag. But not only will this draw attention to yourself, but it will also be an obvious sign as to what you’re carrying around, which could get you into trouble if thieves are looking for a target.

If you put your camera into a regular bag, it probably won’t receive the support and padding that it needs to stay protected. You don’t want your expensive camera lenses to end up scratched, bumped and broken.

That’s where the nappy bag comes in handy. Not only are they regularly quite large bags that will easily fit your camera, as well as any other accessories you might wish you bring along, but they’re regularly fitted with padding and pockets, meaning your camera will stay protected, too.

So, the next time you go on holiday and want to hide your valuables, or be a little inconspicuous with your expensive camera, be sure to use a nappy bag. No one in their right might would want to snatch a bag full of used nappies, would they?
