The test to help you decide on the perfect travel companion

Jun 05, 2017

If you’re planning a long trip abroad or perhaps a caravanning holiday around the country, then there’s one thing that has got to be on your list of things to do, and that would have to be finding the best travel companion.

This is no easy feat, by the way, as finding the perfect travel companion can mean the difference between a holiday filled with fond memories or a holiday filled with fuss and fighting.

We have one great solution to this easily avoidable problem, though, and that includes taking your travel buddy on a test drive before making the big leap to travel together.

Instead of booking a four-week cruise with your mate, or deciding to go on a tropical holiday together at just a moment’s notice, why not go on a shorter holiday together first to make sure you actually get along.

That way you’ll know exactly how your potential travel buddy copes in stressful situations, whether they’re easy-going or a bit high strung, or even if they prefer to be a bit adventurous or more relaxed.

All it takes is a short road trip or a weekend getaway to get some real insight into your potential travel companion.

You might be surprised to discover that you travel in completely different way, perhaps you like to take things slow, for example, while your friend likes to go, go, go.

Whatever the case may be, it’s better off finding that out during a two-day holiday rather than a two-month one. It might take a few test drives, but it’s worth a shot!
