They say that downsizing in your retirement is the way to go, but residents in this Dubai building will be getting one big upgrade.
The amazing apartment complex does more than house a multitude of luxury units: it rotates!
While many baby boomers look to move out of the family home and into a quiet unit after retiring, this spinning masterpiece is more like an thrill-seekers dream house.
Designed by David Fischer of Dynamic Architecture, the incredible skyscraper spins slowly around giving residents a 360 view of the surrounding city.
It’s not just the rotation factor blowing people’s minds either, the luxury units are filled with top of the range finishes and come in at a cool $30 million each.
Travel + Leisure reports the “apartments that can rotate 360 degrees, moving independently through voice-activated command controls that allow you to adjust the speed or stop the movement”.
The apartments are meant to be opening in 2020, but the company behind them has yet to announce the start of construction.
So if you’ve got a spare $30 million, line on up!
