When it comes to travelling around Australia two things generally come to mind: the size of country (it’s bloody HUGE!) and the cost of travelling around it.

Now, you might think travelling across the big brown land will cost you an arm and a leg, but let us tell you, it doesn’t have to.

Now, it is incredibly simple, and you might start to kick yourself after discovering just how easy it can be to save money and travel around the country on such a tight budget.

The way to do it is to sign up to something that’s called vehicle relocation. And it’s exactly what it sounds like. People pick up and relocate vehicles across the country.

But the beauty is, that if you’re planning on getting to point A to point B, but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a plane ticket or on hiring a campervan, then vehicle relocation will do the trick.

All you have to do is pick up the vehicle that needs to be relocated and then drive it to the location it needs to be sent to.

Many popular vehicle rental companies lease their cars for just $1 per day, if you can pick it up and drop it off from and to the locations that they need.

Not only that, but some companies also provide a fuel voucher, so you won’t have to spend too much of your money on the petrol to get you there either.

If you are thinking about travelling around the country by car or campervan, but want to save money on your trip, then take a look at some of your favourite vehicle rental companies and see if they provide a vehicle relocation service. It’ll just cost you a $1 per day to see this big and beautiful country.
