How a belt can make your camping trip much more organised

Jun 05, 2017

Going camping is all about being resourceful. It’s about getting back to basics while still maintaining some level of order and a little bit of luxury. If you love to go camping just as much as you like being clever, then this handy tip is right up your alley.

No doubt you have a humble belt lying around the place. It might be on the floor next to a pile of clothes that need to be washed, or perhaps it’s lying in a bag of clothes that you’re thinking of giving away to charity. Whatever the case, put that belt to good use by bringing it on a camping trip with you.

How many times have you been camping and have been at a loss for storage options? Where on earth are you supposed to put those pots and pans when they’re not being used? Yes, you couple pop them back in the car, but if they’re wet from being washed, they’re going to leave puddles of soapy water all over the place.

This is where the belt comes in handy. Simply fasten the belt around a nearby tree, hang a few S-hooks onto the sides and there you have it, the perfect place to hang your pots and pans when they’re not being used.

This is the perfect way to prove just how resourceful you can really be on a camping trip, too. But it’s not just the pots and pans that you can hang from this makeshift-shelf, you can also hang your mugs, cloths or anything else that you can hang up and get out of the way. Just remember to place your pots facing down so no insects or other critters make their way inside.
