1. You’re in an exotic location

Once you get onto that cruise, you can say goodbye to the humdrum of everyday life. Goodbye daily cleaning routines and washing loads. See you later shopping lists and walking the dog! All you have to think about is, well, you don’t have to think about much at all, and to top it all off, you’ll be in an exciting and possibly exotic location which for some can be enough to let those inhibitions go and enjoy yourself as well as your partner’s company.

2. There’s no stress

According to the experts, stress can have a negative impact on your libido, meaning those stressed out emotions can actually suppress sex hormones. If you want to say goodbye to a terrible sex life, then make the time to de-stress. And what better way to de-stress than by jumping on a cruise?

3. You’ll have time

When was the last time you had a date night? You know, a night when you scheduled to spend some quality catch-up time with your significant other? Well, there is no better time than during a cruise to make some time with each other, because, well, you two aren’t going anywhere. And if you’re stuck on a boat together, then you might as well use the time to rekindle some magic.

4. Get out of your comfort zone

Variety is the spice of life, as they say! And what better way to bring some variety into your life than by going on a cruise, doing fun activities and getting out of your comfort zone. Doing interesting activities together that you’ve never done before can rekindle a bond between you and your partner that you may have lost and bring you both closer together. So take that dance class or go snorkelling together and start getting those romantic sparks flying.

5. Sleep

There’s nothing better than a great night’s sleep to put some spark back into your life, and as a result, into your relationship as well. “Sleep is as important as healthy food and exercise. I think people need to prioritise sleep a little more,” Dr Dorothy Bruck told the ABC. When you prioritise sleep, you feel great and you have the energy to invest into your partner and make the time to take part in fun cruise activities.
