We’ve all dreamed about what it’d be like to fly first or business class, and now you might get the chance if you’re a Qantas Frequent Flyer member.
The Australian airline has secretly released a selection of discounted first and business class seats, but there’s a catch — the seats are disguised as accomodation listings on Airbnb.
During the next two weeks, Frequent Flyer members who uncover the listings will be able to score incredibly cheap flights to multiple overseas destinations including London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Santiago and more, news.com.au reports.
For example, two first class seats from Melbourne to Los Angeles will cost 50,000 Qantas Points, compared to the normal 144,000 per seat, and two business class seats from Sydney to London will cost 50,000 points, normally 128,000 per seat.
As news.com.au explained, the listings come with names like “cosy cabin nestled between the clouds” and “premium one bedroom suite at 35,000 feet”.
“Some of our members fly with us more than 100 times a year so it can certainly feel like they’re living on one of our planes, eating, sleeping and working at 35,000 feet,” Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said, according to the publication.
“Our business and first class suites have all the hallmarks of a typical Airbnb house with comfortable beds, movies, quality cooked meals and experienced friendly hosts.
“We know our members love to redeem their points on travel, so we’re excited to be able to give them new ways to access these rewards.”
