Your say: How would you react to your child disowning your grandchild?

This is a letter which has been but out on Facebook. Allegedly when the grandfather heard that his daughter had kicked her son out of the home upon learning he was gay, wrote this letter to say he was disowning his daughter himself.

He says in the letter that “You have made the choice of being hurtful, narrow-minded and backward”.

“I now have a fabulous (as the gay put it) grandson to raise, and I don’t have time for a heartless b-word of a daughter,” he said.
