  1. I went on a cruise 2 years ago.It was the most expensive and boring week of my life.I read a lot of books the same as i do at home. The coffee supplied was appalling and the decent coffee cost an arm and a leg.I certainly won’t bother again.I will stick to my caravan in future.

  2. Cruising is such a great way to take a multi generation family holiday. We cruised with the whole family – grandparents down to 2yr old grandchild and there was something for everyone.

  3. I love cruising and would go more often if I had a travelling companion as it is so expensive to cruise on your own. Sometimes I do get a bit bored but when I think about it, it would be my own fault as there is usually enough activities on board to keep you busy, or not, depending on how you feel on the day.

    • Tours booked on board are twice the cost of same tours as you disembark.

  5. We cruised for 16 nights across the Pacific from Hawaii to Australia only a couple of years ago. Visited interesting ports along the way, met some lovely people and experienced some wonderful specialty dining – including a fantastic Chefs Table.

What a relaxing way to come home and no jet lag.

  6. Would highly recommend cruising as value for money.
    Everything is included, accommodation, entertainment
and meals for the one price paid and there is no out
of pocket expenses if you do not wish to purchase an
alcoholic beverage you can have a wonderful inexpensive

  7. Just been on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth for 17 nights. It was a world cruise, picking up at Southampton, UK, and stopping at various places. We flew to Honolulu for 3 days then boarded the ship and cruised to Samoa, Tonga, NZ, Bay of Islands, then back to Sydney. Can recommend this ship.

    • Veronica, did you go to the White Lion Pub on board the ship? I did, and had fish, chips and mushy peas…..a favourite in the UK of we Midlanders and Northerners. Not quite the same in Australia having to buy tinned mushy peas from Coles!

  8. Hi we have been on 3 cruises would love to go again .
Very relaxing holiday, inexpensive as everything is included in price accomodation , food, entertainment .
    Love it 🙂

  9. Have been on one cruise,Pacific Dawn out of Brisbane, which is at the cheaper end.Whilst I wouldn’t go on that sort of cruise again(it was good value and kids had a ball) I would love to cruise more elaborate ships around the Med and out of Miami. You see more do more and generally pull into new city or port every day.
