John, try it on the bottom of your feet. My dad made me eat it, shoved it up my nose, and it didn’t stop the cough like putting it on the bottom of your feet. Honest. Tried it late one night when my grandson had a cough and we didn’t have cough syrup. Damn if it didn’t work!!!

Try a good quality cold and flu tablets for a few days. Wash your hands and self in antibacterial soap for just a day or two to help stop the bug spreading to others. When this is over make sure you get your flu vaccination this year. I have had the flu jab two years in a row and they definitely help. You probably should have gone to see the Doctor by now I would have done. Get better soon.

Flu is a virus infection so no antibacterial will have any effect other than to combat secondary bacterial infections

If you read my comment the antibacterial soap was an idea to “help to the spread of infection” .

Penny the flu is a virus and no antibacterial will have any affect and will definitely not stop the spread of the virus. Wearing a face mask would be much more beneficial.
