This clipping from an Australian Newspaper (unknown which) is trending on Twitter today and we think it is an interesting topic for discussion.  Has your electricity bill gone down in price since the abolition of the Carbon Tax?  And by exactly as much as it went up by? Have you even noticed the benefit of the rollback?

Let’s talk this afternoon?

  1. I am not aware that I have had any reduction to my electricity bill. I’m with Lumo. As usual it all just seems to political nonsense – don’t think it would matter which party it came from!!

  2. It was always Tony and Joe’s spin about the “great big carbon tax”. So they removed the tax and SFA happened to either our electricity prices or anything else supposedly affected by the carbon tax. Maybe not direct lies but certainly a huge beat up by Tony and co.
