The genius app is called Stocard. It’ll practically turn your smartphone into a virtual wallet. Though this idea and task may seem a bit daunting but don’t worry, it is very straightforward to set up.

It’s 100% free and doesn’t require any registration, you can start using it right after downloading. There are also over 200 preset discount cards, such as Woolworths Everyday Rewards, FlyBuys, Myer One, Priceline, Spotlight and Qantas. We reckon it’ll have nearly all of the plastic cards you currently have in your wallet.

Here’s how Stocard works:

1. Access your favourite cards instantly. Simply select or search the store loyalty card you’d like to add.

2. It’s quick and easy to set up each loyalty card. When you find the company you’re looking for simply hold your card in front of the camera to scan the barcode. If your card doesn’t have a barcode, you can manually input the card number.

3. Now all your reward cards are in one free app to access whenever you wish.

4. At the store simply show Stocard at the check-out. This will show the applicable barcode to ensure you receive your loyalty points.
