When was the last time you had a bath? A proper relaxing bath where you can drift off and leave your worries at the door. The kind of bath where you dim the lights, light some candles and have a glass of bubbly within reach.

I know we bathe every day, but to take an indulgent soak is good for you every now and then. Not only will it help you to relax, soothe any aches and pains, but it will make you feel like a new you. You deserve to take time out for yourself!

Create a spa-like atmosphere

Turn off the overhead lights. Light a few scented candles around the room.  Find your favourite bubble bath and prepare to relax.

Did you know?

The perfect temperature for a bath is two degrees above body temperature! Don’t make your bath too hot as it will dry your skin out.

  1. I find it worrying to get into a bath. We had a spa bath for a time with a silly sort of ledge. It was difficult to negotiate and I was scared of falling. So, made the decision that showers are fine by me.

  2. The best bath I had was about 12months ago at Body Works in Bali . Hope to get there next year again .

  3. I refuse to wallow in my own filth! Never could see any point to a bath – love a good shower. Baths are lethal, slippery, accidents waiting to happen and when you get older you can’t get in or out safely.

  4. At least 30 years and it was a Radox bath for the relief from soreness. Great for relaxation but I would need a shower afterwards.

  5. Have been in our house 15 years, have baths in the 2 bathrooms have never had a bath but still have to clean the bloody things, my new place has no baths, hurray

  6. Wow, I have just got out of a relaxing bath containing 1/2 a cup of Epsom salts and 1/2 a cup of bi-carb soda a great detoxer
