Crown Princess Mary shines in ’70s-inspired outfit

Just like that other royal couple we’re so fond of, Crown Princess Mary and her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, are on a royal tour.

In the United States on royal business, Mary has been charming those she meets, but it is a series of printed floral outfits she has worn during the visit that has generated the most attention.

However, while visiting the Danish ambassador’s residence in Washington DC, Mary looked to the ’70s for inspiration, donning a bold royal blue jumpsuit by luxury women’s brand YDE, based in Copenhagen.

Mary is well known for her adventurous and effortlessly elegant sense of style.

It’s not the first time Crown Princess Mary has worn the YDE jumpsuit. She was first photographed in the outfit back in May a a Women Deliver Conference.

The outfit is made from 100 per cent silk and features a hidden zip at the back.

She paired the look with simple gold jewellery and a pair of classic nude pumps.

What do you think of Crown Princess Mary’s look? Did you ever wear a jumpsuit?
