Pork ribs are getting cheaper and now is the time to stock up before Christmas. If you’re wanting to use some for dinner this week, here’s the best ever ribs recipe, tried and tested, and universally loved. They’re finger licking good!

  1. Combine tomato sauce, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, mustard and salt and pepper in a dish. Add ribs and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  2. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper then place ribs on top. Roast for one hour, turning ribs over once or until cooked through.

  3. Serve with your choice of side!

  1. Pork ribs are dearer than pork fillet or pork roast! I was commenting on this on the weekend. All the ‘trendy’ cuts that used to be the cheap cuts are now way overpriced.

  2. I will try this with pork fillet not ribs. The price of the ribs and other cuts have gone up due to being used on on MKR and other cooking shows and became very popular.

  3. Why
Why can’t I just print the headiiing, recipe and photo on one page?
Can’t we just have this on clean one page?
Without all the other 8 pages and crap coming up?

  4. All so called trendy cuts are now what were the cheapest of cheap cuts now overpriced, used to eat legs of roast lamb, the bests cuts of steak, lamb chops ect for next to nothing as well, legs of lamb less than $5,good old days wages were low,but we knew how to cut our cloth..
