Honey garlic chicken thighs

Slow cooker meals are always good for a quick and easy fix, but this recipe takes that idea to a whole new level! With only a few basic ingredients this chicken turns into the most succulent and delicious meal.

Everything is thrown together in two simple steps before being cooked over a low heat for six hours. The end result? Tender chicken that falls apart on your fork and is filled with the most amazing honey and garlic flavours. Serve up two thighs per person with a side of fluffy rice and Asian greens.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Method

1. Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of slow cooker.

2. Whisk soy sauce, tomato sauce, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.

3. Cook on Low for 6 hours. Serve with rice and steamed greens.
