Easy chocolate peanut butter mug cake

Did you know that you can bake a cake in the microwave in seconds? Well, if you didn’t, let us introduce you to this beautifully decadent chocolate peanut butter mug cake.

All you need is one mug and one microwave to make this sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons self raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter

 

Method

In a large mug, whisk the dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt).

Next, add the milk, vegetable oil and peanut butter and whisk quickly til smooth.

Pop in the microwave on high for one minute. Check to see if it has risen up sufficiently and put back in if you need to. Serve immediately.
