Our Community Cares: How do we get more blokes on Starts at 60?

This week, one of our long-time supporters and writers, Rod, has written in with a big question… Where are the men folk on Starts at 60? We want you to read his query below and tell us, how can we get more blokes on Starts at 60? What would you like to see more of? What would men find interesting? Let us know in the comments below!

“I’ve got a day off work today so the intent was to write something for Starts At Sixty. What I had in mind refuses to become reality. I have made several starts but the flow of words in relation to the article has become a trickle and as usual when this happens my mind wanders.

Of late I’ve been wondering why it is that us blokes are outnumbered by the women in the Starts At Sixty community? I have a theory (as yet unproven) that maybe a lot of blokes reckon social media groups and web sites such as this are the domain of women. Could it be a belief that Starts At Sixty was the brainchild of a woman, is run by women and therefore is primarily aimed at women? 

I would like to remedy this situation but am at a loss as to how we can get the over-60 blokes to have a go. 
So girls; next time you have a quiet moment with your hubby, boyfriend, partner, one-night-stand or even just a mere male acquaintance invite him to join the Starts At Sixty show.
And men, what would you like to see more of on Starts at 60? “
