Would you add this ingredient to your sacred guacamole? Even Obama says no way!

A massive scandal has erupted after the New York Times has suggested we add a different ingredient to a particular dip. In fact, outrage would be an understatement. They innocently suggested to “add peas to your guacamole” and to “trust” them.

No deal.

The NYT acknowledge the radical nature of the recipe but that hasn’t stopped the complete outrage by guacamole lovers. This recipe has sparked an internet explosion by a mass mob of guac-a-holics. The dip lovers are offended by such a ridiculous suggestion. It’s been coined the 2015 “Pea-gate” scandal to allude to the serious nature similar to the US Watergate scandal of the 1970s.

With the recent eruption, the ridiculousness has even caught the attention of Obama. He tweeted “respect the NYT, but not buying peas in guac. onions, garlic, hot peppers. classic”. The idea of desecrating a favourite, classic recipe is truly unacceptable.

The NYT suggested adding peas because it might save some cash sent on avocados. Apparently the NYT has learned via a barrage of abuse that you don’t mess with the sacred dip. Guacamole has proven to be more than just a dip. Peas in guacamole is just unnatural.

Similar to Obama, another political figure, Jeb Bush tweeted his dislike for the recipe.

Sorry NYT but looks like your recipe needs to be burned and a public apology might be a good idea. The offensive recipe will not be forgotten but the good news is that the original guacamole lives on. Its loyal fan-base is stronger than ever.

What will the the NYT suggest next? Jam and Spam? Mashed potato and choc-chips? Please, stop this madness!
