Princess Mary’s new official portraits

She was our princess but now, she’s well and truly a Denmark royal. Princess Mary has just released her official portraits ahead of her 43rd birthday on February 5.

We don’t hear a lot about Crown Princess Mary these days so this is a lovely reminder that Australians really can take claim to a royal.

Many are commenting on how youthful Princess Mary and Prince Frederik look – it’s almost as if they haven’t aged a day since their first official photos.

In the shoot, the beautiful Mary wore a custom-designed pale pink ball gown by Sydney designer Carla Zampatti with a stunning 211-year-old diamond and ruby headband and matching jewellery, while her husband look dapper his Danish military uniform.

The couple’s four children Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine were not in the official portraits but were in family photos last year that marked the 10-year anniversary of their parents’ 2004 wedding.
