She’s one of the most controversial and polarising political leaders in Australia and now she’s put her foot down and told everyday Australians that if they want something done, they need to vote Independent.

The former MP and One Nation leader has taken to Facebook to show just how serious she and her party are about making change in the country.

“Polling released today shows both major parties are on the nose with voters, revealing 12% of Australian’s are shifting their support to minor parties and independents”, says the post on the Pauline Hanson’s Please Explain Facebook page.

“Both Labor and the Liberal National Parties have criticised the cross benches that hold the balance of power, saying they’re a hinderance to passing bills in the Senate, yet when GOOD POLICY has come before them, they have passed it.
“Minor Parties like One Nation WILL NOT stand in the way of good policy being passed. WE WILL NOT HOWEVER SUPPORT POLICY THAT HAS DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS ON THE AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE.

“I would encourage you all to send a clear message to the major parties this election and put them last on your ballot paper.

“One Nation have Senate candidates in all States across the country this election, and solid candidates in some of the lower house seats across the country.

“I trust you’ll look seriously at placing a no.1 in the box for our One Nation candidates and other like minded independent candidates across the country. Let’s put the major parties last”.

Her call for Australians to put their votes in for her party comes as the 61-year-old rallied her supporters to consider Opal Card’s choice to give asylum seekers discounted travel.

In another Facebook post, the outspoken Queenslander said, “It only further creates an ‘US’ and ‘THEM’ scenario and denigrates the chance of assimilation. If it’s not jobs, health, education, housing, loans and social welfare, it’s cheap travel.

“When will the handouts cease?

“If you want the out of control handouts and refugee intake to stop, think twice who you vote for. One Nation will put a stop to it”.

With an election now set for July 2, time will tell if Pauline will have her dream of being an MP again. Tell us, who will you be voting for?

  1. Don’t worry Pauline I intend to do so

  2. I agree with Pauline. . I firmly believe in one person one vote. I don’t agree with The PM in making it harder for independents to be be forced out of govt. OK they haven’t had the benefits of being a Rhodes scholar or even university, which makes them closer to the majority of the population who haven’t these opportunities. Even if the votes trickle down to the last person, it’s still legal voting. Until they change the law and start one vote one person this charade will go on forever, vote for me, the Oldies Party.

  3. you got us on board Pauline.. You told the Australian people years ago, that what is happening now, would happen… Turncoat the traitor and his bunch of looneys……selling Australia out from under the people… And kicking the crap out of the pensioners

  4. Liz
Both the major parties made a decision in 2014 to hold Commonwealth Citizens prisoner in detention facilities on mainland Australia and off shore, if they had spent more than 12months in jail. My son is one of these people. He is a New Zealander and did his time in a Queensland Prison, was paroled as a low risk offender and has since spent 10 months behind barbed wire fencing. We his family are all Australians, but still he languishes in a camp. This has to stop. Not only is it a terrible situation for families, but it is costing the taxpayer $250,000 per person per year. I will not be voting for either major party. Not while this inhumane practice continues.

    • I’m sorry for your family to have one of your own in a detention camp, but I don’t think Pauline would have much sympathy if he is not Australian. It is very unfair but a NZ citizen who does not have Australian residency has few rights in Australia – they are as foreigners. Pauline represents the interests of Australian citizens, particularly if they are white.

  5. When will handouts cease for ex politicians?

  6. I think that all politicians need to put the needs of the people BEFORE their owns greed and private agendas…. No politician OR any members of their families should ever be able to profit in any way from any deal/policy change put before parliament! I will definitely put the major parties last on the ballot and bring some law and order back to Australia……

  7. Pauline, there is a word that describes you and that is “Oxymoron”
How appropriate that you represented the electorate of Oxley. You then became the “Oxley Moron” !!!!
Give it away and cook some decent fish and chips.

  8. We’re just not going to keep accepting gracefully all the handouts & help that the refugees continue to get from our Government, whilst genuine Australian citizens are needing help themselves and are being shoved to one side, the road to ‘nowhere’. I have no intention to vote LNP. Labor or the Greens. Pauline, thank you for being there – you’ve got me babe !

  9. Voting Independent is unfortunately just a vote wasted as Independent Members, show time and time again, single interest policy or lack thereof. We constantly see Government going nowhere with independent bargaining for some ridiculous things to just get themselves more perks. Sorry Pauline, I like most of what you say, but, will make my mind as to which major party can damage the Country least, then hopefully some reasonable laws and tru Government will happen

    • Sorry Keith but you are so very wrong. The major parties MUST be put last. Don’t you understand that if you keep on doing the same as you’ve always done you will keep getting the same as you’ve always got? Do you not understand preferential voting? Obviously not…otherwise you wouldn’t say something stupid like “Voting Independent is unfortunately just a vote wasted…” Pauline herself is not an independent & she surely is not single policy. I admit one has to be careful with independents…BUT there are numerous minor parties out there that have full & complete policy platforms that are very very worthy of your vote. If you have any grip on preferential voting you will know that voting 1, 2, 3 etc for minor parties then 3rd last, 2wnd last & last for the big 3 is NEVER a wasted vote. Your “favoured” major will still get your vote if none or the minors get up. Most of the minors are only or mainly focused on the Senate with some fielding candidates in some lower house seats. Australian Liberty Alliance, One Nation, Rise Up Australia Party, Love Australia or Leave Party, Christian Democratic Party, Family First Party, Restore Australia ….these are some of the minor parties with full policy platforms. The two party duopoly we had had for years is destroying this wonderful country. If you do what you said…YOU are part of the problem.

  10. Pauline is racist and anti-immigrant, unless you are indigenous you are descended from an immigrant. Currently the government is spending billions every year keeping asylum seekers locked up off-shore. If you want to vote for someone who cares about all of God’s creation, vote Green.

      • Is it even possibly you can be this stupid & still breathe?

    • Vote greens yea rite then we wouldn’t be able to fish get a life the greens should be thrown out befor they even get a chance to say what they think should be done in Australia

  11. Pauline makes a lot more sense than any of our so called political ” leaders “..

  12. I will be voting for One Nation.
Thanks Pauline, for trying to get Australia back on track.
I want you to win, and I HOPE YOU WIN,
and I WILL be asking the Lord Jesus, for a
“Pauline to Win PM” Blessing for Australia!
