Myer, David Jones, Minimax and more retailers recalling this common kitchen item for fear of injury

Myer, David Jones, Minimax, Peter’s of Kensington, The Essential Ingredient, Accoutrement are urging customers who have bought the Dualit 1.5L Jug Kettle Polished with Black Trim, to stop using the item and urgently return to where they purchased it for a full refund.

According to a report published by the ACCC, the kettle’s plastic viewing windows may shatter and if pieces are accidentally consumed, they may cause injury. At this point, there has been no information on when the kettles were sold so customers will need to check the SKU number.

There is a risk of shattered plastic pieces passing the filter and being poured into food or beverages and potentially being ingested.

If you have this product, please stop using it immediately and return to the retailer where you purchased the goods to receive a full refund.
