Liza Minelli stuns partygoers on a night out in San Francisco

Partygoers in San Francisco were given the ultimate treat recently when iconic entertainer Liza Minelli took to the stage unannounced.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime surprise when 70-year-old Liza got up in front of audiences at Feinstein’s at the Nikko and started singing.

With performances and public appearances scarce in recent years, the Broadway beauty — who was decked out in all black — showed she’s still got it.

In tribute to her late mother, Judy Garland, Liza joined award-winning pianist Michael Feinstein on stage and belted out Irving Berlin’s ‘I Love a Piano’ from the Easter Parade in which her mother appeared with Fred Astaire.

The veteran vocalist left clubgoers stunned when her sister, Lorna Luft, 63, welcomed Liza to the stage and thanked her for being a “strong and supportive sibling” who was by her side during Lorna’s battle with cancer.

After the performance the winner of an Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony award remained in the crowd for most of the show.

Feinstein’s at the Nikko is paying homage to the late Judy Garland — best known for her role as Dorothy in the 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz.
