Some of your favourite Australian media personalities have put their most glamorous foot forward on the red carpet at a media event in Sydney.

But it was Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson who had heads turning at the Andrew Olle Media Lecture on Friday afternoon.

Bickmore wore a sparkly cut-out black dress, as she turned out to watch her The Project co-host Waleed Aly deliver a speech at the event.

The focus of Aly’s speech to the media lecture was the shortcomings of today’s media landscape, pointing out the media’s reliance on viral content.

He made no apologies for his own career  and admitted to picking stories that may ‘go viral’ over serious issues.

Notably absent from the event was Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic.

His journalist brother Peter Stefanovic on the other hand was photographed alongside fiancee Sylvia Jeffreys.

What do you think of the media personalities’ outfits? Who do you think was the best dressed?

  1. Sandra Sully best dressed.

Don’t like Carrie Bickmore as a brunette, doesn’t suit her.

Lisa Wilkinsons dress good style, but would have been better in a colour not floral.
