Jackie Kennedy brought to life in trailer for film everyone is talking about

If you loved Jackie Kennedy, then you’re going to love this!

A new film about the former First Lady is being released – and it’s getting rave reviews from film critics.

Jackie, as the film has been titled, follows the story of Jackie Kennedy in the days following the assassination of her husband, President John F. Kennedy.

You might be wondering what has the film critics so excited about this film?

Well, it all comes down to actress Natalie Portman’s portrayal of Jackie Kennedy.

The first official trailer for the film, released this week, shows Natalie Portman looking and sounding exactly like Jackie Kennedy.

From the hairstyle to the fashion and the voice and mannerisms, Portman’s performance as Jackie has been getting rave reviews since the film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last month.

There’s already Oscar buzz surrounding the film and Natalie Portman.

The epic trailer for Jackie offers a glimpse at what’s to come.

It starts with home video reels of Jackie’s life – her elegant, dignified public persona alongside her husband and her reputation as a doting mother.

But it quickly turns to the day her world turned upside down, that famous pink Chanel coat and the grieving widow in black with her husband’s coffin.

Portman speaks the line from the musical Camelot that Jackie Kennedy uttered in an interview in the days after JFK was assassinated.

“Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot.”

If you’re looking forward to seeing this film, it’s reportedly scheduled to be released in Australia in early 2017.

American moviegoers will be even luckier, with the film to be released in the US in early December.

Do you think Natalie Portman has done a great job portraying Jackie Kennedy? Will this be a film you’d go and see?
