Have you bought a jar of marmalade? The urgent recall you need to know about

Marmalade is delicious on a slice of bread, but not when it could potentially be contaminated. An urgent recall has been issued by Food Standards Australia New Zealand, for marmalade, urging those who have bought the particular brand and type to return it.

Buderim Ginger are also helping to recall jars of “Original Ginger Marmalade” with the expiry date of 18/07/2018 only. These jars were sold in Coles (QLD, VIC, SA, TAS & WA), Woolworths (QLD, VIC, SA, NT, ACT & NSW), IGA (QLD) and Thomas Dux (NSW & VIC).

According to FSANZ, the recall is due to the potential presence of glass, and they warned it may cause injury if consumed.

If you think you have a jar of this marmalade, all you need to do is take the jar to the store you bought it for a full refund.
