Breaking: Brady Bunch actress Florence Henderson has died

If you’re a fan of the Brady Bunch then today is a very sad day for you.

Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady, has passed away aged 82.

She started her career on Broadway, before bursting onto our screens in 1969 as the matriarch of the Brady family. 

Henderson’s manager Kayla Pressman released a statement this afternoon saying the 82-year-old died surrounded by family and friends. 

Henderson recently appeared on Dancing With the Stars, where she was a surprise guest for Maureen McCormick who played her daughter Marcia Brady.

She was also a supporter of the Sisters of St Benedict, raising money for the nuns on a number of game shows including the Weakest Link and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

The actress was also a qualified hypnotherapist .

She is survived by her four children, while her husband John Kappas died in 2002.
