This young boy had no idea his simple action would mean so much

Two boys are playing together as children do, absorbed in their play and chatting to each other. But one of the children, Kaden, has spinal muscular atrophy so he’s using a wheelchair and lacks the strength of his playmate. It makes no difference to his new pal, who seems oblivious to the fact that his friend is different to him.

Kaden’s mother was watching this scene unfold and was deeply moved when she witnessed the boy’s interaction with her young son during a recent trip to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium. Kaden had some difficulty playing at one of the interactive exhibits. But the thoughtful boy came over and joined the 1-year-old, helping him with an educational toy and playing with him just as any friend would.

Myers, took photos as they enjoyed their day out and snapped a photo of the pair playing which she later shared the picture on Facebook along with an emotional thank-you to the boy.

“To the little boy at the science museum, I don’t know who you are, but thank you for being amazing,” she wrote. “You didn’t ask what was wrong with him or why he couldn’t walk, you just saw him. … You will probably never see this but just by being you, you make this world better.”

The moving photo, which was uploaded last Thursday, has since gone viral with more than 255,960 likes and over 58,731 Shares.

To the little boy at the science museum, I don’t know who you are, but thank you for being amazing. You let my son play…

The boy, demonstrates how we would all want our children and grandchildren to treat someone with a disability. The little boy saw Kaden, not his disability.

How proud would you be if this was your grandchild? Help us find this boy!
