It freshen our clothes but how often do we freshen our washing machine? If you inspect it closely next time you’re about to put in a load, you may be surprised.

Lint and other yucky fibres can get stuck to the inside of the machine, causing odours – thankfully one of the best ways to get rid of it is also one of the simplest.

Just run 1/2 cup of mouthwash through an empty washing machine on a normal rinse cycle! The mouthwash helps to clean and disinfect the machine.

    • If you used white vinegar as a fabric softener on the last wash each time, you won’t have to do the 3 months cycle wash. I used to do the washing soda wash, until someone told me about using vinegar. Been doing it for 5 years now and my machine it sparkling, no grease gunk!

  3. My towels are the last to go in the wash and I use white vinegar (cheap home brand) as a fabric softener on them and no they don’t smell like fish n chips 😂
It keeps them soft and cleans the machine at the same time.
No more gunk in the machine caused by detergents and softeners.
