Smart organising tips for your Tupperware and plastics drawer

If you’ve got lids and containers everywhere in your cupboard or drawer, you’re not alone!

The familiar spill over of Tupperware and plastic can make your head hurt and you may have been avoiding it for too long.

Thankfully, there are some clever ways to store your containers and never go back to the unruly mess.

Firstly, here’s how you can get started:

  1. Remove everything from the cupboard and separate into containers with a matching lid, and lids and containers without a pair.
  2. Once everything is gathered together it can really be an eye-opener – do you really need that many containers?! Consider giving away or selling some of the containers you don’t really need. Also, throw out any containers that don’t have their mate.
  3. Clean and wipe the shelves, and put any dirty containers in the dishwasher.
