Our Community Cares: actors wanted

This week, Starts at 60 reader Lyn wrote to us asking for some community help….

“This is just a plea for help! I have written several short plays which I would like to take to retirement villages in the Warringah/Pittwater area. However, finding actors is proving to be almost impossible! We had been rehearsing twice a week (at Gleneaon Retirement Village at Belrose) but one of the cast dropped out. This was a blow to the remainder of the cast as we were having loads of fun with rehearsing.

If there are any fun-loving retirees out there who would like to join us, I would very much like to hear from you. No acting experience is necessary – just a little of your time for about two hours on Monday and Thursday afternoons”
