What’s your favourite quote?

If you were to think of your favourite quote, what would it be? Where did you first hear it? Sometimes a quote can be said by another person who adores it, or you may have read it in a book. Other times you can just stumble upon it but it’s the significance of the words that truly matter.

In a reddit thread titled “What is your favourite quote and why”, the responses ranged from funny to heartfelt to sad.

Here’s some of the best:

  Reminds me that people are hard to please but if you are confident in your own ability does it really matter in the end.
