This huge classic was original released as a duet in 1966 via the Tamla Motown label and was a hit but was most popular in its 1970 reincarnation.

This former Supremes frontwoman took over the soaring tune and it was her first number one as a solo artist this week in 1970.

The single was Grammy-nominated and was a smash hit on the pop and R&B charts, achieving Gold after selling over 1 million copies.
