An old lady’s wisdom

After working her farm every day, the old lady farmer rarely had time to enjoy the large dam in the back. So one evening she decided to go down and see how things were holding up. Much to her surprise, she heard voices shouting and laughing with glee. As she came closer she saw it was a group of young men skinny dipping in her dam.

She made the men aware of her presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the men shouted to her, “We’re not coming out until you leave.”

The old lady replied, “I didn’t come down here to watch you boys swim or make you get out of the dam naked. I only came down to feed the crocodile.”

Moral: Old age and treachery will always triumph over youth and skill.
