Always know the punchline when you tell your wife a joke!

The audience thoroughly enjoyed their evening with a great motivational speaker. At one stage he told them, “The best years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who wasn’t my wife!” This shocked the audience until he added, “And that woman was my mother…”

That brought great laughter and applause.

Several days later, a company executive, one of the attendees, came home from an evening out with the boys. A bit under the weather, he said to his wife, “The best years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who wasn’t my wife”.

His wife was utterly shocked.

Befuddled by the booze, the man struggled to remember the punch line and finally managed, “…an’ I can’t remember who she was!”

He awoke two days later in Intensive Care.

THE MORAL: As every computer operator will tell you, “Don’t copy if you can’t paste!”
