This has to be one of the happiest news for Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson. They are reportedly grandparents again after their son Chet became a father. The birth has however been kept secret and no details or even photos of the child have been revealed so far. A magazine, In Touch, reported that the Forest Gump star’s 26-year-old’s son had a short term relationship with a woman called Tiffany, who’s got full custody of their child. “They’ve fallen in love with the little girl,” a source told the mag.
“They adore that baby and even spent Halloween with her. She will always be loved and taken care of by the Hanks family.”
The 60-year-old Oscar winner is said to be helping Chet – born Chester – financially support the child as well as helping pay his $2800/month rent for a Santa Monica home, reports Daily Mail.
Tom and Rita also have a son Truman, turning 21 this month; and Tom has a son Colin, 39, and daughter Elizabeth, 34, from his first marriage to Samantha Lewes.
The Sully star was already a grandfather of two girls – Olivia, 5, and Charlotte, 3 – by Colin and his wife Samantha Bryant.
