This star is copping major backlash for kissing her daughter on the lips
An innocent picture to wish her daughter a happy birthday has turned into a nightmare for Victoria Beckham after she started receiving hundreds of abusive messages from people slamming her for kissing her little girl on the lips.
Victoria shared the photo on her social media with the message, Happy Birthday baby girl ??? We all love you so much ??? X @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham kisses from mummy X.
Quickly, she was flooded with comments from people telling her it was “wrong” and “disgusting”.
One wrote: “It is strange to kiss your parents on the lips. We need to stop saying to other people it isn’t.”
Some some even branded them “pervy” and “lesbians.”
One person wrote: “Ew sorry I’m old fashioned it looks like they making out”.
Another added: “Why tf are you kissing your daughter on the mouth.”
The reaction has reportedly surprised Victoria and her husband, footballer David Beckham, and has lead many parents to ask: is it really that bad?

Lots of parents kiss their children on the lips as a way of showing affection and love without it meaning anything more than that.
It wasn’t all negative feedback for Victoria though, with many jumping to her defence.
“To them it’s just a kiss not a romantic gesture and as a parent it’s our job to take that love unconditionally,” wrote one supporter.
“You need to open your eyes and see the beauty in the love between a parent and child and not turn it into something it so clearly isn’t!” said another.
One mother added: “Beautiful photo, what is the world coming to when you can’t even kiss your own child on the lips! I always kiss my boys on the lips.”
So is this a sign of changing times? Has the world become sensitive that a mother has to censor how she shows affection for her child?
