This Golden Girls LEGO set is incredible!

We all remember Golden Girls, the iconic 1980s sitcom starring Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty, and although it is no more, a new Lego set has been created by a fan and it’s awesome.

The LEGO ideas website allows creative people to share their ideas for LEGO playsets and have them peer-voted.

In order for a user submission to reach the official LEGO review board, it must receive at least 10,000 votes from the community. Once the set is approved, it is mass produced and the creator receives royalties on sales – how good is that?

In the Golden Girls House, according to the creator, “there’s a foyer, living room, and kitchen with one wall removed and a full view into the space. It comes with 5 mini figures including Dorothy, Rose, Sophia, Blanche, and Stanley. It has been meticulously recreated to have opening cupboards and fridge in the kitchen,wicker sofa and chairs, a hallway backdrop, a storage closet in the kitchen, and an outdoor area with potted plants and a hose”. What more could you want?!

While we can’t exactly see our grandchildren playing with the set, it definitely brings back memories of a great TV show we enjoyed.
