This barber who went the extra mile for an autistic boy will restore your faith

What this barber did for an autistic boy who came in for a haircut is absolutely amazing… and proves there are some great people out there.

For anyone who has an autistic grandchild or knows someone with one, it can be a struggle even just to get out the door.

This week, a couple took their son Mason along to have his hair cut in Port Talbot, England, and the level of customer service they received was amazing.

James Williams, the barber, shared the pictures of the haircut to Facebook and explained what happened:

Really want to thank Jamie Lewis and Denine Davies to allow me to post this on my wall, the extremes you need to achieve when your cutting hair is amazing even having to go down to a child’s level literally.

mason who few months ago got diagnosed with asd, Jamie & denine got recommended to me , so over last few month I have been attempting to find different ways how to cut masons hair, he wouldn’t allow me to go near one of his ears he would run away on times if he wasn’t up to it ,

The barber was clearly blown away with the responses to his story, with it being picked up by news media in New York and Brazil. He wrote on Facebook:

“after such amazing support from all over the world it’s now drawn to near 700,000 views, to think how many people it has touched which was never expected, I do need to post about Denine Davies and Jamie Lewis, & they young boy mason who has been a great challenge for me over last few months, but they deserve more credit as they have had to learn with masons asd condition, as it was all new to them, I’m just glad I been a part of the journey to put a smile on they faces, Thankyou for allowing me to help you guys”.
