The Middletons join the Royal family to mark 100 years since Gallipoli
It was a family affair for the Royals this weekend, with the Duchess of Cambridge’s family, the Middletons, joining them to mark the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign.
Princess Catherine’s parents Carole and Michael and siblings Pippa and James came along to Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham estate on Sunday.
Kate was seen walking to St Mary Magdalene’s church with her family and husband Prince William for the special event, but left the little Prince and Princess at home.
It seems fur was a popular choice, with both Pippa Middleton and her mother Carole opting for the high fashion piece.
The Queen broke from the attire of the day, and looked lovely in a cream outfit as she laid wreaths with Prince Philip at the War Memorial Cross to mark the poignant anniversary.

The Cambridge were not supposed to attend the service, however made a surprise appearance at the last moment, reports NZ Herald.
The Queen and Prince Philip, who is patron of the Gallipoli Association, stood still as the Last Post was played by a bugler and a minute’s silence was observed.
The Gallipoli land campaign against Turkey was one of the major engagements of the First World War. At dawn on April 25, 1915, our troops landed on those shores. Over 44,000 Allied troops died, including 8700 from Australia and 2700 New Zealanders.
