The Duchess of Cambridge reveals her new 70s look

The Duchess of Cambridge has made her first official appearance following the birth of her beautiful baby girl Charlotte, visiting a children’s mental health centre and playing games with some of the kids who use the centre.

The Anna Freud Centre, named after the daughter of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud, treats young people with mental health issues and works on developing new treatments and approaches.

Wearing an A-line shirt dress in a houndstooth pattern, Catherine was in true form: elegant, smiling and jumping at the opportunity to show her sportsmanship by having a go at one of the games used in the centre.

She popped on a pair of 3D glasses to play a game that helps children improve their concentration and co-ordination, and met with parents and children, along with managers of the centre.

Catherine also showed off her new hairstyle, sporting a chic 70s-style fringe.  No doubt she is relishing the chance to reclaim some of herself after emerging from the newborn months.

What do you think of Catherine’s new look? Did you wear your hair like this?
