Robert Redford shows support for Trump… but it’s not all high praise

Donald Trump has gotten so excited about a comment from Robert Redford that he’s made an image of the quote…or should we say a selection of the quote.

It wasn’t all high praise for Donald Trump when Robert Redford told Larry King that he is glad Donald Trump is a presidential candidate.

Redford was quoted by Trump on Tuesday morning as saying: “I’m glad he’s in there because him being the way he is, and saying what he says the way he says it, I think shakes things up and I think that’s very needed. Because on the other side, it’s so bland, it’s so boring, it’s so empty”.

But was Trump failed to include was the first part of Redford’s comments. When asked what he thought of Donald Trump, Redford began his comments with: “Look he’s got such a big foot in his mouth, I’m not sure you’re going to get it out”.

It should be noted that Redford isn’t supporting Trump for president, said his spokesperson. They told the Hollywood Report that “the quote reflects the actor’s enjoyment of Trump as a character, but doesn’t indicate his support for Trump as president”.

Redford has swayed his political leanings in previous years, endorsing President Barack Obama during the 2012 election.

A spokesperson for Redford told the Hollywood Reporter that the quote reflects the actor’s enjoyment of Trump as a character, but doesn’t indicate his support for Trump as president.

Take a look at the below tweet and tell us, do you think that Robert Redford was misquoted? How do you interpret his comment on Trump?
