Madonna announces first Australian tour in 23 years

80s pop queen Madonna is set to come to Australia on her next world tour after cancelling her 2012 shows and an absence of 23 years.

Her new tour for her latest album Rebel Heart is due to start on August 29 in Miami and will run for 35 shows across North America before she heads off the Europe.

And then, after her last show on December 20 in Glasgow, it is expected she will travel to Asia and Australia, according to a statement from her concert promoters.

Madonna is not known for her subtly so the show is sure to be filled with controversy and cover all of her greatest hits of the last 3 decades. After a frightening fall last week at the Brit Awards, we hope she’s in fine form when she graces our shores.

The dates of her shows are expected soon.

So tell us, would you go along to a Madonna concert? Have you ever seen her before?
