Julie Andrews proves she’s as cheeky as ever!

Just one week short of the 50th anniversary of the release of The Sound of Music, Julie Andrews has been talking a lot. Almost every media outlet has been hasty in getting an interview with the woman we came to love as Fraulein Maria in one of the best musicals of all time.

But speaking on the talk show, Live! With Kelly and Michael’s Annual After Oscar Special, she shared a sassy little insight into her feelings about controversial film, Fifty Shades of Grey.

She told them that she hasn’t seen the movie yet however when host Kelly Ripa said (speaking about the talk show set they were interviewing on), “This is Gelman’s tribute to that movie. This is the Red Room. We made a Red Room back here… We’re not going to spank anybody here!” to which Julie Andrews replied with so much class, “Oh, well. I’d like it if you would!”

We absolutely adore that she’s just as cheeky as ever at 79 years of age!
