Josh Groban to tour with orchestras in 2016

Vocal legend Josh Groban has announced a tour for 2016 that east coast Aussies won’t want to miss, performing with orchestras and choirs that will run chills down everyone’s spines. Groban performed to sellout audiences in 2007 and 2013 across Australia and this time, it sounds like it will be special. Groban will be accompanied in Melbourne and Brisbane by an orchestra and choir during two beautiful performance nights at the Opera House by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets go on sale at 10am, Monday August 3rd with fan club members able to access pre-sale tickets from 1pm this Friday, July 24. A presale for Live Nation members will commence on the 27th July also.

Groban, an American singer, has released four solo albums which have all been certified multi-platinum, and he was charted in 2007 as the number-one best selling artist in the United States, with over 22.3 million records in the nation. To date, he has sold over 25 million records worldwide.

His recent concert in Philadelphia featured the following hits, Changing Colours, February Song, Aléjate, Vincent (Starry, Starry Night – Don McLean cover), Alla Luce del Sole, Falling Slowly, Play Me (Neil Diamond cover), Caruso, Dream On (Aerosmith cover), Você Existe em Mim, Happy In My Heartache, Per Te, Children Will Listen/Not While I’m Around, To Where You Are, I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever) (Stevie Wonder cover), You Raise Me Up and his encore: Smile  (Charlie Chaplin cover).

We’ll be seeing Groban all over our TV screens in coming days, as he begins a 7 day tour of Australia that takes in radio performances in Melbourne and Sydney, performances on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, The Morning Show and Dancing with the Stars.
